Cafe Air, located in the David Jones city building over looking North Terrace and the South Australian Museum. A visitor from Sydney was in town, so a couple of friends and I took her out on a mini short tour around Adelaide, but before then, we have the task of feeding our food deprived stomachs!
I’ve had a browse through their website… and it’s been stuck in the past… like 2005 past. Time to get that thing updated yo! It’s quite horrible to look at, and there’s hardly any information/ pictures up either. HMPH!
Air chips with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce.
Crispy on the outside with a nice soft thin pillow of potato on the inside. It’s like Kettle chips… only better.
Thai Beef Salad
Gorgeous colours, but they could have plated this a bit better, no? But then again, it is cafe food?
Salmon was quite salty and although there were some cheese, it wasn’t enough to balance out the flavours.
Was too rich and creamy for my liking.
Cafe Air – a good place for a quick bite, it’s convenient and the view’s not too shabby either, but the food isn’t anything special.
