My dear friend Phuong has just arrived home from her whirlwind of a Europe trip and brunch was in order for a much needed catch up with stories, goss… and LOTS of stories… and of course a whiff of her new Chanel bag! It is going to be a gooooood day! Nothing beats a day out with the girls: good food and great company! 🙂
ETC Works with bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms, hash brown and tomato served on a sliced foccacia bread, $15.80
Eggs Benedict with leg ham, tomato and hollandaise sauce served on English muffin, 11.50
Soft poached eggs with prosciutto, spinach, tomato, hollandaise sauce on wood oven toast, 13.20
This is what I ordered, and although it did taste good, I found little flavour in the spinach and tomato cause the creaminess from the egg yolk and hollandaise sauce literally drowned out everything. I attempted to dust the entire plate in salt and pepper and even so, found it difficult to taste through the sauce.
Overall, a great little spot for a weekend brunch, good coffee and a relaxing atmosphere.
