Very very nice ambience with VERY dim lighting, high ceilings with two massive decor lights suspended above patrons and an upstairs area for party bookings and whatnot.
Complimentary bread and hand cut wedges with roasted garlic dip; $8.00
These wedges literally just came out of the deep fryer cause they were HOT! After they cooled down a bit, I proceeded to devour it but found the skin to be slightly soft much to my disappointment. Why are thy wedge not crispy? Hmph!
King prawns with potato curry, rice and salad
China town duck burger: confit duck, provolone cheese, herb salad, mushroom and ginger relish, shoestring fries and bourbon sauce; $29.00
OMG, SO DAMN GOOD. Although I would’ve preferred it if there was less duck meat and maybe a tad bit more cheese. 😛 And maybe not so much chips either, even though they were perfect! Crispy potato goodness. Only problem was, I was too darn full and on the near of explosion to fit dessert in. Oh how much I wanted to dig my teeth into something sweet but my poor belly just did not agree.
An excellent night, great food and great company as usual! 🙂
