Spent a lovely Sunday arvo down by the banks of the Torrens with K. More specifically, at Regattas Bistro, situated in front of the Convention Centre, Elder Park.
What a beautiful day it was, the sun decided to come out and pay a visit after weeks and weeks of blustery winds and bucketloads of rain. Bliss! ( Torrential rain came back for a visit this weekend just passed, aeish! )
Beer, complimentary bread with olive oil and butter.
The wait staff were incredibly attentive with top notch service – very impressive.
MSA Angus Porterhouse steak, dauphinois potato, caramelized onion, horseradish cream; $35.00
The potatoes were amazing – a melt in mouth sensation. The beef was cooked extremely well, a nice pairing with shallots and horseradish cream.
Roasted loin of veal wrapped in pancetta, white bean casserole and grain mustard; $34.00
A delightful meal, although not a huge fan of the bean casserole.
Finished off our meals with a beer and some much needed vitamin D. What more can one ask for on a lazy Sunday? 🙂
