It’s late, cold and we were hungryyyyy. Where to for a late night feed? Onwards to Ming’s Steam Boat in Chinatown for some food and warmth! 🙂
Menu, condiments, sugar cane juice with carrot $5.00, hot pot broth – half hot’n’spicy and half pork bone broth
We selected our meats and veggies from the menu, placed the order through, mixed our own dipping sauce from the selection of condiments available, sipped on some refreshing sweet sugar cane juice whilst our broth was brought to our table on an electric hot plate and waited patiently for it to simmer and our meats to arrive before we could officially dig in and be master chefs for the night!
And then they came:
Freshly hand made fish balls, enoki mushrooms
Bok choy, abalone mushrooms and beef
We threw (not literally) in our meats and veggies on both sides of the broth and cowered over our steaming hot pot patiently waiting for our meats to cook! Once cooked to our liking, we scooped it out, dunked it into our customised sauce and enjoyed it!
Delicious, simple, fun and satisfying! I’m ready for round 2 soon! :)~
