Gotta follow up dinner with dessert! Green tea ice cream at Gelatissimo was on our sights but unfortunately, they’ve sold out on the one flavour we were after! Back up plan – Sugar Bowl seeing as it was in walking distance. The dessert cafe is quite large and caters for large groups easily in its booths which have all been sectioned off accompanied with cushioned sofas, pillows and plush toys.
We perused through the menu for an ice cream menu but there was none – only fancy ice cream desserts that weren’t on our radar. However, there are a variety of asian desserts and drinks and we finally settled upon this:
Crepe with vanilla ice cream, mango and chocolate sauce; $9.80?
The dessert came out cold, too cold. Now you might be wondering why I’m making a fuss about the dessert being cold, cause it should be cold! Cold. Yes, but not so cold that the mango was almost at a frozen solid state (didn’t help that my teeth is quite sensitive too)! I suspect that these desserts are premade and left in the fridge. :/ The serving size was quite small (a good 4 bites and it was all gone) and the hefty price tag left us wanting more.
