MillioRe is located in Capitol Square – right in the heart of Sydney’s Haymarket Chinatown, which also houses many other shops and restaurants (Japanese, Thai) and an upper level dedicated to sticker photo booth machines and plush toy games. Coincidentally, one of my favourite Korean restaurants in Sydney was conveniently across the road from where we were staying so how could we not drop by (more than once!) to feed ourselves?
The really sad part of that particular day was that I hardly had an appetite to shovel all the delicious food down but I did make an attempt to eat what I could.
Pear punch, kimchi jigae: kimchi stew
Hot and spicy deep fried chicken and japchae: potato noodles
Oh so so good. Would’ve liked the hot and spicy chicken to be spicier but loved it nevertheless. Crispy crunchy batter coating a bite sized juicy piece of chicken that is adoringly soaked in a hot and spicy sauce with crunches of onion and carrot. 😛 Loved the subtle flavours in the slippery potato noodles with the added crunch from the vegetables which is then followed by a spoonful of hot kimchi stew with pieces of fermented cabbage, pork and tofu pieces. *droolsss~* Take me back!
