Macaron entremet: fresh Adelaide Hills strawberries, with vanilla and creme fraiche mousseline
Pretty little things aren’t they? The macaron entremet was clearly a hit with us as we craftily carved through the chewy macaron shell with our forks and had a mouthful of macaron, creme fraiche mousseline and fresh sweet juicy strawberries. A burst of contrasting textures and flavours that is just right in terms of sweetness (for me at least!). The chocolate cloud was delightful to look at, shiny smooth surface with shards of fine discs of chocolate. Yummy and textually fun? Indeed. I still rate the Hazelnut Heaven as my favourite though! :)~
