Having been to Culshaw’s Grill before, I knew what to expect in terms of food and service but I was really hoping for a better experience the second time around. I ordered the steak and although the steak was cooked medium rare to my liking, the accompaniments did little to enhance the meal. The squash was lumpy and cold and the wine glaze lacked flavour and punch. I would’ve much preferred an extra side of veggies or
chips (it’s starting to sound like a pub meal!) creamy mash to pair with the steak. As for the dessert, it didn’t get any better; the crumble was sickeningly sweet resulting in one spoonful and my sugar quota was met for the day.
So readers… where do you suggest I get my steak fix next?
