Benjamin on Franklin

Benjamin on Franklin
Stone & Wood Pacific Ale
Bird in Hand pinot rose; $8.00
Sweet potato fries with homemade BBQ sauce; $7.90

The biggest bowl of sweet potato fries I’ve ever seen for $7.90! It’s big enough to be a ‘main’ let alone a ‘side’ dish. Same with the onion rings (below)!

Benjamin on Franklin
Onion rings; $7.50
Bacon and seafood medley spaghetti with tomato basil and red wine sauce; $21.90
Roast duck salad, rocket, Spanish onion, candied pecans, raspberry balsamic & fresh herbs; $19.00
Pepper crusted Atlantic salmon on a basil and pesto risotto with tomato and cucumber tendril salad with sweet balsamic dressing; $26.90

The food isn’t worth raving on about but the venue itself is pretty cool. There are 3 private function rooms, an awesome beer garden out the back and plenty of seating available out the front of the building. My favourite being the beer garden, group booths with cushions, lots of greenery and hanging lights; the perfect place to chill during the summer time over a drink with a group of friends, or brave the cold during the colder months and opt for something a bit more warming, possibly a glass of red and a humungo bowl of sweet potato fries! 😉
