I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
After a slow and not very filling dindins with C at Bartons, we headed into the CBD to check out the new dessert joint for some good ol’ ice cream!
Baileys and scorched almond ice cream; 1 scoop $5.00
With so many flavours to choose from and a stomach that is NOT a bottomless pit, I chose the Baileys and scorched almond over the cafe, chocolate mint, honey and fig, salted caramel and wild strawberry. Good choice cause it was yummyyyyyyy!! So creamy, so smooth, so Baileys-ey with real scorched almonds with every mouthful! I now have multiple excuses to return back and try out their other mouth watering flavours. Mmmm… ice cream~
Churros and dipping chocolate
I also ordered a churro ($2.00) and they kindly gave me an extra two! Score! I can’t say that they’re the most pretty looking things… but they tasted aiight. Just aiight… a bit heavy handed on the cinnamon I thought!
Crepes with nutella, strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream
Crepes for C with nutella spread inside, strawberry pieces and a scoop of the classic vanilla ice cream; all lightly dusted with some icing sugar and a smear of chocolate on the side for good measure. Pretty tasty crepes, thin and chewy; but you gotta eat them fast cause once the ice cream melted, it got a bit messy and soggy.
