Chai icey: silky syrup blended with lightly aerated milk topped with ice cream and cream; $6.50
Hot choc mint; $5.50

A cold beverage for F and a warm chocolately one for I. Tasty hot choc mint with sweet hot chocolate with mint and creamy soy milk served in a mid sized cup with an accompanied wooden flat spoon.

Sloppy joes for each! Much to our surprise and let down, the ‘mince’ in our sloppy joes ordered from the ‘standard menu’ was in fact… not meat. That baffled us as why would there be a ‘standard menu’ and a ‘vegetarian’ and ‘vegan’ menu if the sloppy joes on their menu were pretty much the same? Fries were good, crispy and carberiffic but we both thought that the onion rings tasted strange – we suspected it was the oil that was used to fry them in… that or they were burnt as it left an unpleasant aftertaste.

I wasn’t a fan… hehe but they do seem to have a following so don’t let me be the judge! 🙂

You spend most of this review complaining about the lack of real meat

I rate this review 1.5/5 (mostly because it DOES have pretty pictures)

Wow. I am very much a meat eater and at first was disappointed that the burgers were not meat… until I tasted them! I got over the fact pretty quickly and couldn’t stop raving to my husband how good they tasted and he was just as impressed. We shared loaded chilli fries, a “chicken” burger and a “beef” burger and I can see why this place packed out by midday.
