Elizabeth Street eats in Croydon

Elizabeth Street eats in the Western burbs of Croydon, an ideal brunch spot away from the CBD with ample street parking and good tasty eats.

Let’s start from the end closest to the train station…

I used to be a regular here but visits have slowed down over the past year with new places sprouting left right and centre around the CBD and burbs. Having said that, a great spot for brunching and lunching and they do a mean cup of coffee too!

Light lunch: small item with a choice of 1-2 salads; $12.00
Sweet corn and creamy Danish feta fritter with onion jam with Middle Eastern cracked wheat salad and carrot and quinoa with toasted seeds

They have a second store in the Central Markets but this is their original digs. Serving freshly vegetarian salads and juices, even carnivores will be impressed with their flavours and variety.

I’ve heard mixed reviews here so we stayed safe and just opted for a juice of kiwi fruit, cucumber, apple and ginger; $6.50. Simple, refreshing and cleansing. Yum! Have you been? Let me know your thoughts. :)

      Not quite! Haha

Googlemaps isn’t doing what I want it to do, but the map has been amended.

I love Queen Street! I often meet friends with kids at Red Door. We get takeaway coffees and pastries and then take the kids to the train park down the road. Great post, D.
