Day trip shenanigans in McLaren Vale with our hired mini bus for the Sea and Vines Festival!
A stop to the Visitor Centre to grab ourselves a map to plan a rough itinerary for the day ahead…
First stop: Wirra Wirra, check out that massive wine bottle made up of corks in the background!
After emptying a few glasses of wine, we made our way to Serafino.
And Maximus Wines.
Before we settled down at d’Arenberg for a bite to eat.
Persian pita wraps with roast za’tar pumpkin; $15.00
Persian pita wraps with slow braised d’Arry’s dorper lamb; $15.00
Lunch with a view
Nougat kataifi, halva and Turkish delight; $5.00
And a final stop over at Alpha Box & Dice to absorb in the tunes, relax over open fires and sneak in a few more snacks at Neon Lobster as well as a jug of sangria to go around. A really cool and funky spot with a heap of ‘hipsters’ in McLaren Vale (so random!). 🙂
