After something a bit more ‘clean’, healthy and wholesome for breakfast and lunch? Why not drop into The Nourish’d Kitchen in Stepney, just off Magill Road for a gander. Not only does their menu boasts sugar and gluten free eats, gourmet and raw treats, cold pressed juices, delicious milk combinations (like their Pink Milk made with strawberries, vanilla and coconut milk), they also do a mean cuppa too–in the coffee and tea variety–psst, they’ve even got their own signature blend! 😉
The interior of the place is a delight; it oozes a simplistic and refined feeling much like those Scandinavian interior design Pinterest pins we’ve all got saved in a folder under ‘dream home’. The space is light and airy with plenty of natural light filtering through the large front window, there are touches of timber, brass, greys, pastel hues and green succulents and flowers dotted around the cafe. A large communal table takes precedence in the centre of the cafe along with a nook in the corner with bench seating and colourful cushions for a more intimate coffee date, and of course, one can’t past up the bench seating in front of the window.
Roast vegetable salad $9.00 and a latte $3.80
Simplistic at its best. Delicious and surprisingly very satisfying and filling, loved the sweet pumpkin pieces, the slightly charred caramelised capsicum slices, fresh greens, chunks of soft feta and crunchy pops of pepita seeds and roasted quinoa almonds.
Roast vegetable salad with slow cooked free range lamb; $9.00 + $8.00
The team at The Nourish’d kitchen is almost ready to launch their whole food meal delivery, that means you can get their delicious offerings delivered to your work or home! As much as their new service offering sounds exciting and convenient, I think I’m more than happy to pay return visits to soak in the atmosphere and interior. It’s such a pretty little space and totally instagram worthy. 😉
