Last month, we were invited to the official launch of Soils and Seasons, a campaign about the Adelaide Convention Centre’s approach to food, which has been designed to showcase the best of South Australia, its produce and producers to local, national and international visitors.
New Executive Chef, Gavin Robertson and the ACC team of internationally trained chefs treated a small group of media and industry personnel a taste of what they do at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Gavin said that he “feels very privileged to be working in a State with an abundance of world-class produce, and have been energised by the passion of its food producers”.
The menus at the ACC will continue to evolve as the seasons go by with new dishes, cooking methods and food presentation but the underlying philosophy will remain.
Check out the amazing spread that we were treated to at the launch!

Thinking of having a function at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the team have got you covered and will surely impress you with more than just ‘function’ food. You’ll taste the soil, the season, the sea and the region and quantity will not impact on quality!
