Brunchin’ and lunchin’ at Froth & Fodder, a funky suburban cafe with a rustic twist behind a shopping centre carpark in Kurralta Park. Their brunch menu is served all day until 3pm so that was our go to pick on our visit.
Their menu boasts goodies made with locally sourced produce and they make a mean cup of coffee too!
Quinoa and falafel burger; $16.50
I settled for the healthier burger option, a quinoa and falafel burger served with house made chutney, carrot and coriander relish, aioli, cheddar cheese and fresh greens on a toasted sour dough roll served with a massive side of chunky thick cut chips. What a monster burger, and a freaking delicious one at that! So much flavour was packed into that tower of fresh ingredients with a variety of textures with each mouthful, the carrot and coriander relish was a surprising burst of freshness, zip and crunch and the ‘patty’ was delightful. The side of hot chips was tasty too… but it kinda brought the ‘healthy’ levels down a bit, as did the bowl of aioli! Haha.
F & F cobb salad: grilled chicken, crisp bacon, diced tomato, feta cheese, fresh avocado, poached egg on salad green and citrus aioli; $17.50
Cute little spot, great food and really friendly service. Well worth a visit if you live close by. 🙂
